The David City Municipal Airport has two runways – a 14-32 a 3,675′ x 60′ asphalt, lighted runway, and 1 -19 a 2,100′ x 60′ turf runway. They have an apron with tie downs; windsock; beacon on dusk to dawn. Runway lights are radio controlled 122.9. Other facilities included four tee-hangars, one shop hangar, and administration building, hard-surface taxiway, and parking area. Five private planes are hangared there, none are available for charter.

The City of David City recently executed agency agreements with the Department of Aeronautics for Project numbers 3-31-0025-08 and 3-31-0025-09 to be submitted to the Federal Aviation Administration to obtain federal assistance for the development of the Airport. These funds would be for a snow removal equipment building and snow removal equipment.
